The general public is always invited to welcome our returning heroes home the evening of the flight.
What is required to register?
All those regardless of age, must sign up at least 24 hours in advance of the event to ensure you will receive a gate pass. Gate passes are distributed when you arrive at the AA counter. The gate pass will allow you to come through TSA security, All TSA rules and regulations will apply to each person.
Do I need a REAL ID to get through security?
At this time, you do NOT need a REAL ID to obtain a gate pass, but you must have a valid, unexpired ID.
My child doesn't have a photo ID, are they able to get through security?
Children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult. You do not have to have a photo ID for anyone under the age of 16.
Do I need the paper EventBrite ticket?
No, you will be given a gate pass pending you registered correctly on the site. (See details below on how to register)
Detailed Instructions to register on EventBrite:
Click the Red Register button - this will hop you over to an Eventbrite website. Click "Get Tickets"
Add how many tickets you'll need, then click "register"
You'll enter your contact information and then click "register" again.
It will say order successful - this is where you'll enter the specific names of each person attending.
If you added 4 tickets - you'll have space to enter 4 names and DOB's. Just scroll down for each ticket and enter information. The last red button is "Complete Order"
You do not have to print the EventBrite tickets - you will be handed a gate pass when you come to the airport.
